Cooper tire in Texarkana, AR. Oh good god. This is the worst shipper I have ever seen in my short career. The security is rude here, they take forever to answer the phone, and when I finally *do* get into the shipping office, I only find out then that the load was canceled.
They succeeded in one thing though, to be the first shipper to go into my blacklist.

General Mills Carson, CA. Arrived 1130 for a 1200 appt. They got rid of the guard, and you have to contact shipping through the intercom. They won t answer the intercom, but yet have about 10 trucks out in the road trying to check in. Finally I get to the intercom about 1230, get a door, and get loaded at 230. The shipping clerk was too lazy to print the bills before shift change, so had to wait 30 minutes for bills. Then he had the nerve to mark me late on the checkout list. I replied I was on time, a.nd if they didn t take 15 minutes at a time to process a truck, they wouldn t have trucks all out in the road. And what fun to be in L A rush hour traffic

Costco Tracy CA. this is the worst Costco of them all. They had trucks 3 lanes deep all the way back out the road, and almost backed out to I 580 trying to get in. After waiting 2 hours to get to the guard shack, they tried to tell me that my appointment was tomorrow. I told them it was today, and I was on time, but you all decided to book over 200 trucks at the same time
So they checked me in, gave me a door, which I had to wait 30 minutes to back into because another truck was in the dock. 4 hours later, I m finally out of the gate and trucks still lined up waiting to get in -
I guess nobody has felt like complaining about shippers lately so it's my turn since I'm still sitting at this ####hole that has wasted an entire 14 hour clock.
My company, Maverick, is so slow lately that they have some of us dragging around van trailers delivering random junk food, shampoo, and ### wipe to Walmarts, dollar generals etc around the country. The miles have been 2x what I was getting doing glass in March.
Today I got my first real treat of a place to go. It's listed as Snyder/Lance in Pineville NC on the assignment yet this place doesn't actually exist and the address to the place is wrong so every other driver I've talked to today had a funny story about how screwed up it was finding this place. Oh, BTW it's called Campbell Snacks now but good luck finding the actual building because it's not in the correct # order for the road that it's supposed to be on and it's not even on the same road but does have that address, wrongly.
This was supposed to be a 8am drop and hook. I get here and was told that they couldn't preload it because they didn't have any trailers, yet I saw one of ours right there in front. So I have to wait for a live load. I'm still here now at 7pm with a red light on the door because they took until 6pm to start loading the trailer. Total cluster #### of trucks lined up all day with nowhere to park and constantly moving from one place to another so somebody else can back in.
I'll be either receiving about 150 dollars of detention for this or I'll be refusing to ever return. -
Welcome to trucking.
