Had a chip come out of the edge of my wheel well right steer.
Reported it to risk management only because possible someone else reporting it one day. Then they ask why I never reported it. Took me a few days to report. It was because I wanted to ask the shop first. Shop manager said he wouldn’t even report it himself. And he ran his hand over it. Looked at it real close. It’s about an inch long or so. Kinda odd? Found it on inspection.
Come to find out. My truck had been wrecked. Right front. Repairs. Kinda answers why this odd chip happened. Shouldn’t have with a non repaired fender. Don’t know how either? Rock? Or?
Anyways... risk management just had to be contentious. Why so long to report? They might give you points. I might give points. Points points. Straining at gnats while swallowing camels. I got sick of her contentious attack with points. Told her to shove it. Do whatever the H! she wanted to with points. I’m sick of hearing it.
What if it Snows?

Same shop guy from above. He told me a bunch of road calls on my truck. Not good. ????
I told him; It had a bad air dryer. Nobody would fix the problem. Just kept fixing the damage caused by high and low pressure from check valves etc frozen up. Then tell me to just drain the water from air. As if it was all my fault. Doh!
Told him they finally replaced the air dryer. This was after me draining water 8 times a day. And still got towed.
All those people couldn’t fix the problem. Only the symptoms. It was a mess.InTooDeep, D.Tibbitt, Dave_in_AZ and 1 other person Thank this. -
Knocked out 551mi today. Got another 130mi to my morning drop off, then a reload of steel in Laredo again (####!) that goes back upto Sweetwater. Hopefully I can get up there tomorrow night and then back home by Fri afternoon.
jsnell and WesternPlains Thank this. -
Did they give more points for them not fixing the air dryer?
Tell them the truth. “I didnt report your wrecked truck is falling apart?”
You put me in a wreck knowingly and didnt tell me, how would you feel if you found out your car has been wrecked?
Give me points! I’m taking a 30 day leave of absence.
I never minded playing games at a company, as long as I knew the rules.RidgeRunner731 and WesternPlains Thank this. -
The joy of being a company driver. The last place one of my cousin's worked they got so cheap, they started using all position uni tires, even for the steers.
He stopped a DOT and asked if they were legal they were so bad lol.
He said it was almost like driving a mixer the ride was so rough, and turning was a whole new experience.RidgeRunner731, InTooDeep and WesternPlains Thank this. -
That same shop guy. Told me I probably never had an air dryer. It’s located right front. Where the wreck was. Truck had a really bad hit with a deer.
Really... I get sick and tired of these young people looking for a chance to contend. I just blah blah blah back at them anymore. Parents have made them into twice the servants of satan as themselves.dwells40 Thanks this. -
