I'd get fired.
I keep the door closed and truck.
If I'm not kicking off stops, and just doing a straight 11, I might avg 66/67
Has anyone ever done 700 miles on elogs

Its been 7+ years now since I last drove. My memory is not what it used to be either. I need to correct my comment. Our Company speed limit was 65 and they would grant some tolerance. Since our trucks were governed to 65 it never was much of an issue anyway.
Trucker61016 Thanks this. -
Its possible, just unplug the elog.
Ive driven 630 miles in a governed 62mph truck. a 70mph truck should be able to do 700 miles in a day keeping the left door shut. The Veteran and jethro712 Thank this. -
In 10 hours and 52 minutes @65 I accomplished 640 miles one day.
born&raisedintheusa and skellr Thank this. -

745 was the longest I ever did on elogs. Ungoverned in a Peterbilt 389 and most of that was across Texas, from the East to the West and back again overnight.
Edited to add that this was the only time I've done over 700 and wouldn't be mad if it never happened again. 698 was the second closest overnight from Texas north into Kansas.DAX_ and Trucker61016 Thank this. -
You would have to average 63.5 MPH for your 11 hours of drive time.
PE_T, DAX_ and Trucker61016 Thank this. -
Speed limit is 80 in South Dakota on I-90 , you could drive from Sioux Falls to Rapid City and back 790 miles easy in good weather and a real truck.

Yes it can be done. I did 704 miles in a day a few weeks ago and my truck is governed at 68
