What I do know about it is that HR shares the info with your Terminal Manager, Dispatch, safety, and payroll. I applied for a new job and within 45 minutes my dispatcher was on my phone about it.

That is where the relay number comes in. I own one in my name. (Deaf relay) Once that number hits their files it protects my cell.
The rationale for that is FFE gave out my emergency cell number to a big broker who started blowing it up with calls, are you there yet? While destroying the monthly minutes on it. Not to mention being near Seattle threatening to cost me a roaming international billing which starts at like 500 dollars. We had been billed for that before in those days.
NEVER again will I expose myself like that via a trucking company. If they want to really get in touch? Its so easy. Start typing on that satellite. -
I know I am responding to an old post, but they clearly have no idea what they are talking about. Driver Facts doesn't have barely ANY information on it, let alone opinions or slander that would prevent a driver from being hired. It's the most basic, boring employment verification out there. This is what is on a DriverFacts report (and only if you worked for one of the major companies that use DriverFacts for DOT Verifications):
•Dates of Employment (and if leaving was voluntary or involuntary)
•Drug & Alcohol Testing Results
•Accidents
That's it.
Here is a DriverFacts report:
That is what they all look like. No opinions, no blacklisting, just the bare minimum employment verification that DOT requires all companies to get before they can hire a driver. It's a really boring report that just has facts about the driver.
Also - And if you do disagree with what is on your Driver Facts report, you can add your rebuttal.
This is only for the really big companies, like Swift anyways. This is what they used to verify employment instead of having an entire division of the company just sitting there and responding to employment verification requests.
Don't let terminal rats scare you with nonsense like this, the only things that show up on DriverFacts are just plain old facts about the driver. If they don't like their DriverFacts, its because they had a lot of accidents or failed a drug test. (or lied about when they worked there? IDK...) Those things are the only pieces of info from DriverFacts that would prevent preventing them from being hired, not the piece of paper that the accidents/failed drug screens are written on.
