These are supposed to be two decent companies. I see them all the time in the southeastern region, but I know squat about them.

TNI starting pay is .44 a mile no matter your experience. They do have per diem. They have a $6,000 sign on bonus but you have to drive 12,000 a month to get $500 a month of the sign on bonus.

TNI slip seats their trucks. But they have none of the one week out one day off. You can take, I think up to two months off at a time.

I live in San Antonio and they have a terminal here so they require the truck stays at the terminal. I’m unsure what the rules are if you live farther away from the terminal.

I don’t live in a great place for regular hometime. Most companies that will hire out of my area that pay .50 plus a mile want me to live in the truck for three weeks at a time.

I’m doing orientation this week (orientation is 2 days) and will see how I like it. They say it’s mostly automotive freight into and out of Mexico. Mostly drop and hook with 70mph trucks. I have my fingers crossed.

I appreciate any info you may share.

If they slip seat, I will not consider them.
