Aaah - we didn’t ask the question, is it a factory guage or Amtek.

Are the dip switch settings the same on both?

    SAR Thanks this.

Amtek makes the factory gauge. Should be the same settings

I fought mine using Amtek book 2000 379, Pete in Missoula finally helped, there is a separate book used 98-00, you have to ask one of the older guys they'll fix you up.

Just reviewed that post - the part about it being ok and then slowing down.

Guess it wouldn’t hurt to check installation of sensor, I think it’s ‘all in, then 2 turns back out’. ?

    Check sensor for ferrous junk.

Then - the dreaded odometer replacement.

    That’s all I got.

    SAR Thanks this.
