Here's a little secret for you guys.
If you work for a carrier that services the fresh meat industry you will be their slave 24/7 .
Doesent matter if you were up all day or flip flop sleep , loads ready and you go tired or not as long as you have hours you go.
Meat packers suck and pay carriers 2 to 4 dollars a mile while the the driver gets chump change .

I ran into a trucker that drove for k&b , he was a real ####### he got into a argument with a terminal manager over something stupid like a driver lounge. He got hired on at k&b and then the orientation guy said something about running nights , he said " I don't run nights" they argued and said we are going to have to send you home, this and that. He said I'll pack my bags, sure enough they kept him on and found him day only runs , he told them to shove it.

Do you know if a flatbed company that hires with no previous flatbed experience and gives home on weekends? Preferably a mid south or mid west regional

It depends on what company you can find but honestly you will probably limit your earning potential and variety of career choices by having to be home every weekend. SPD is a company that offers a salary and they will train you , buy you'll need 3 weeks out . It's not that bad at all plus they are out west .

I could do that for a year or two, but I’ve got an auto restriction lol
My dream job told me no because of it.

It's mostly the flatbed companies that still run sticks. Almost all dry van , reefer, etc has moved to automatic in 5 years CDL schools probably will only teach it in a history class

In order to be paid $1,250 you have to meet certain requirements.
