Ok. Well, sarcasm free - it’s a bit on the cheap side, to me anyway.
Most owner operators would have a ball park fixed/variable cost of $1.20 or so.
Not much reward left over there.OLDSKOOLERnWV, Rideandrepair, Cottonmouth85 and 1 other person Thank this. -

If rates keep tanking then maybe so. But I’ve saw better deals in the seeking drivers section that guarantee loaded and empty pay the same. Didn’t look like any replies so I’d say no you won’t get anyone.

50 cents a mile is far below my costs, so it would have to move up to a buck to make it worth my while.
Rideandrepair Thanks this. -

A better way to price it would figure your cost to move the loads On a load board.Easy to do using rate tools available. Then decide what it’s worth to have dedicated O/O covering your freight. A local O/O might just be looking for a regular deal.Backhauls will be needed also. Rate all depends on length of haul, type of Trailer, and especially where it’s going. Different rates always fluctuating. Better to pay percentage, occasionally upping rate when necessary to entice an O/O to move the load. Otherwise Consistency of getting freight moved will be hard.
