A company I'm going to work for is buying old western express 11-12 cascadias. I don't anything about them except there freightliner. Any info on these trucks would be appreciated. I have noticed its weird to mount your own antenna on these trucks

Yeah you need a mirror mount or a spot mirror mount if you want to add your own antenna.
5speed Thanks this. -
How's the ride and turning? Decent fuel mpg? Quiet?

I avg about 7mpg, with an automatic. Ride was smooth and quite. Left a century to a cascadia at first I hated it. I had that lightweight one with tag axle and a small sleeper. Fix fifth wheel which was moved closer so my turning was horrible. My first attempt backing into a hole was embarrassing. But now I'm in a 2010 Colombia, and missing that cascadia. Smooth ride, better headlights, clean. Dash layout looks like a car with huge switches. Better layout, better cup holder, more 12v plugs. Got in it with 15000, left it at 35000, the only time it went to the shop was a maker light out.
Make sure you check the bolts on the fifth wheel...we had a bunch missing in our fleet
