I have a 14 cascadia, dd15, 555k miles. Sometimes it shuts down over bumps some times it doesn't. I have changed ignition switch, master power switch. I have checked alternator, starter, battery box cables.
I have been told by one mechanic that he won't know what is wrong until it stops working. I don't like this answer. He hooked up the computer and didn't find any codes.
I'm not sure what else to look for. What are the run wires out of the ignition switch? Is there a master power cable to the ecm?
My truck exhaust has been modified otherwise I would go to the dealership.
Out of the ignition switch, which wires are the run wires?
14 cascadia keeps shuting down on road

I'll change it anyway. Thanks for the quick response. It's a little un-nerving. -
mine would, sometimes a small bump.
it’d die, go through system, sometimes stop again as if you killed it again,
you could cycle the key, but it wouldn’t matter and start it again77fib77 Thanks this. -

I had my truck dying and ignition going off on bumps, my battery disconnect switch was doing that. Easy way of eliminating the switch would be to disconnect wire going to it and and see if the problem still there
77fib77 Thanks this. -
