Sorry just seen this.... I just called him and he confirmed he still has the truck. I was thinking it had a 13 speed but he said it was a 15 speed with a wet kit.

Would be about right if the frame was in good shape.

Most people are only giving $5-6K for 450s outright, and I understand he is asking $15 because of the K but realistically it’s not worth the $15K

Hello all, I am looking for a 1973 Kenworth W900, to restore. My dad drove a truck for just about 50 years. 34 of these years were for JM Jones which was eventually bought by Supervalu. In 1973 he was issued a brand new Kenworth W900 day cab of which from day 1 he loved and proud to drive. Although he drove several trucks of the years, that truck was the one he always talked about. I believe that was the truck he received his first of many million mile safety awards. My dad past away Feb 9th of 2021 so I feel this would be a fine memorial to him. Ultimately, I would love to find his truck but I would not even now where to look or if even exists any longer. So a 73' vintage 900 will have to do. Since I don't have a great deal of resources i am guessing this would have to be something need a fair amount of work. I am not looking for a truck that belongs in a crusher. but something with decent bones, hopefully running and driving, but that would be taken case by case. If any one here knows who I could contact I would be forever greatful. Thank you
