I was a maintenance mechanic in a steel mill and worked with a very large number of pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. While I might not have worked your particular combination of flow control systems, I can tell you with 100 percent certainty that learning what makes a system break or clog by watching the production crew break it makes fixing it MUCH easier.
Very good....so alll I have to do to clog the system is to shut down the air and dump the product. Very easy. As if this is some kind of rocket science. And I have zero experience. Half the time you can clear a clog like this by simply getting all the air systems going. Gee... learned a lot there. Wasted time. Accomplished nothing. You guys are a real help. Now how about a real clog. And clearing it. Don't worry about that. They had me go on a run to a place where we are restricted pressure to 7 psi max. While they are pushing back at easily 6 psi. Had three clogs. Often times, it involves more than just clearing a clogged system. Involves shutting down. Cleaning the filter. Gee..... wasn't that constructive. But all that's important is setting up a falsely clogged system. Not a real clog, why , and how to deal with it. My trainers are obviously incompetent. They don't know how to waste time with BS. And one of them has spent many years in the industry. Was a OTR trainer at Knight for years. But no, they don't know anything. All that matters is if a person can come up with something cute to create a false conflict.
Don’t let them tell you that you’re ready until you have clogged that product line up so badly that you have to replace valves and ####, then figure out how to fix it. Then you’re ready.
Even if we're being a bit snarky, we are trying to help here. Tone down the indignant sarcasm, please.
If you people want to fool around. Please try to make it a little more humorous or ridiculous so that one knows it's off the wall.
I wasnt joking around. If your trainer cant plug up a product line on purpose for training purposes then he isnt a very good trainer. I had to learn how to unplug a trailer on my own and it wasnt fun or easy. But if you think us experienced pneumatic haulers are flipping you crap and wanna get all snarky then by all means ignore me and go have fun with your hammer especially when you get a doughy trailer.
