I went to TDI out of Forsythe, GA, and was happy with what I learned there. I had no real surprises or problems due to lack of teaching. I did have a lack of practical experience in a semi, but no school can teach that.

I did a pretty thorough thread describing my experience there, in another forum moderated by a snowflake ex-driver who wrote a book, and likes to edit the posts of others and then ban them so he can win arguments.

Westernplains how many hours driving was your school. I start in 2 weeks and we do 96 in class and 246 driving. Want to be as prepared as possible for the switch to trucks. My only experience is 26 and 14 ft boxes.

That place is an embarrassment. Bunch of noobies that have only worked for Mega’s. He actually said the Mega’s are the Cadillac of the trucking industry. Lol

I can say. The amount of hours driving in my school, was far less than actual.
Here I sit at a dealership in Cheyenne. Regen problem with truck. My very first day OTR. This is better than sitting for hours at shoppers/receivers doing reefer...:D

That might be part of what happened? People not doing that. I wonder if the newer Volvo’s are that way?
Boss is having a “new”? Truck towed to me right now. Will be spending the weekend in Salt Lake. Waiting to unload first thing Monday morning.
    This is fun...hehe :)

There are some good, experienced drivers in there. Some of them have a accounts here as well.

After Mr. Snowflake edited and deleted my posts so he could 'prove' that I didn't have a right to desire privacy from driver facing cameras, I thought about waging a sock puppet war on his forums.

I chose not to do so, out of respect for most of the rest of his community. A large part of them are good people.

If you say so. All I saw was a bunch of lap dogs, eating up their hero’s bull crap and taking shots at this place

If you park at the Loves in SLC you can walk a block and take the tram downtown or anywhere else
