    Sounds like you need to slow it down a bit....you should never panic while you are driving.....that is an indication you are outdriving your ability.

    I'm fine in the auto, I was fine w the manual as well until I saw traffic or I had to downshift but seems like I won't be touching a manual soon :(

    I have been in an auto for a year now. I am starting to get lazy. I am OK with it. The Boss buys the Truck, I drive it, he pays me. We get along pretty well.

    You talk about down grade fast.

    Don't do fast. Your auto should have a manual button, there you can dictate what gear to have the truck in for purposes of jake braking downgrade. Or to hold a gear in a ordinary hill.
