Hello all, I would appreciate if any has an advice or something similar happened to them.
My truck has been turning off while driving and then immediately turning back on, was trying to get home before doing a full check but this time it turnes off and won’t start. It cranks and shows electrical failure in the dash. It is showing a code also. SPN 3597 FMI 2 (ECU Power Output Supply Voltage #1).
Anyone might have any idea on what’s wrong or what can I do to at least get home?
    Thank you in advance!

3597 is showing low battery voltage detected by the VGT actuator.
    The VGT( variable geometry turbocharger)
is a smart device that receives information from the J1939 datalink from the primary engine ECM.
The VGT does its own diagnostic and reports back to the ECM via the J1939 datalink.

The VGT is located on the turbocharger bearing housing.

It’ll show data valid, but below normal operating range.

    Heavyd Thanks this.
