Plus a 34 hr restart becsuse you are going to sit there a while unless your truck has a letter "T" on it.

It does, that was one of my stops to pick up my first student in 4 wks. Still run good even as solo. Since I'm full phase we won't see team for 2 more weeks.

They called me three times asking me to become a trainer and I said no all three times. Each time I told then no they started leaving me sitting on loads.

I've been with the company 5.5 hrs and I turn in all my hours, run legal, pu and del early but cant keet a travel agent for more than a few months. Had 5 since the 1st of the year. They always either quit or get fired.

Been there, done that, burned the t-shirt. Just like some of the drivers travel agents work a couple months, think they know it all and leave for what they think are greener pastures. Others can't make the grade and are let loose. This is a training company. That includes travel agents, technicians and CFOs..lol along with drivers. Those of us that have been here for awhile know that. Anytime you don't think its working out, just wait. You are probably right and it will change soon.

I doubt that has much to do with it. But it might. They aren't really pushing for trainers right now. Seems to be a cut back on students, which is good I think. Also needs to be a cutback on new trainers since I think some are useless.
I did a swap with one 2 wks ago on a load so he could get home for a doctors appt in vandy. (T421) He brought me the load and I asked him if he had scaled it since the load was 44+k. He told me no since HE wasn't going to pass any coupes before he got to me.
Asked him is that what he was teaching his students? Leave it for the other guy?. I hit the next CAT scale and was 1000 lbs over on the drives.
We don't need trainers like that. We need trainers that want to do the job right.

Ohh I almost forgot. Started tuesday morning no miles carried over from last week. When I deliver minday mirnibg ill have over 2700 miles with a restart I dont really need. Almost wsnt to split tge drive up over saturday and sunday but it would probably bite me if I did.

Oh and I'm about an hour better in elog than paper as if shut down today. So I can complain to much about that. Tine will tell how that works out.

I figured that you would probably gain little more driving time on elogs since its not rounding up to the nearest 15 minutes but how are load/unload stops logged? 395.2 says that you dont have to log on duty for load/unload stops as long as they are at least 15 minutes but I hear quite a few drivers complain that elogs put them on line 4 and burn up the 70.
