Sure the drivers sign the ticket but why wouldn't USA be responsible for this fine? What else are we supposed to do? Put 50 layers of clothes on 10 blankets and a wool face mask in cold weather? What about hot weather? Only thing we can do is sleep naked with no blankets. USA truck should be happy with a smile to pay such a ticket. Don't even know why we would even debate such a topic

But what if they don't? Who gets the application of vaseline? I don't trust them.

They probably won't buy the point is ethically they are responsible. If a company driver has to idle the company is responsible for all expenses associated with that. That does include any idling citations

The question would be is if they are legally responsible and I would imagine that they would not be. Not saying they wont pay the tickets but you know how hard it can be to get money out of a big company sometime.

They really arnt that big of a company. They are broke. Big companies aren't broke. You are right though. They aren't legally responsible but ethically they are. They probably won't do the right thing most likely

Big companies aren't broke? How soon did we forget about the bailouts to companies like GM, Chrysler, and many mortgage companies and banks...it seems to me they were all broke. And look at our Federal govt, trillions in debt. If that's not big and broke, then I don't know what is..

Just got a lvl 3 in Mississippi. Passed. Lol

He saw the elog and asked if I knew how to use it. I said yes he said ok. That was it lol.

I had a brand new trailer. He commented on that and my tractor being new. I asked him for a lvl 1. He laughed and said he didn't want to do it on the side of the highway. Sent me on my way.

    Sent from somewhere out there

I'm wondering the same thing. The only time I ever got a road side inspection is when I got stopped for speeding in Indiana. I didn't get a ticket though.

The word I heard is they are going to do away with the idleing percentage all together on the new trucks with no APU
