This is spot on. The salesman made a couple calls today and per the shop manager the Fuel Pump "Blew" and went through the motor. It was still under factory warranty and cummins put a new motor in it.

Well this has become a problem with my truck... I'm wondering how to fix this... Almost scared to pull the whole door seal off and try to reseal the whole door... Thinking it could make it worse? It has a section like 6 inches that's not seal properly which causes so much wind noise it's driving me nuts... I drive with the window cracked all the time... It sucks.... So far after 3 months this is my one complaint about the truck...

My very first truck ever had this issue. I found some self adhesive weatherstripping at Home Depot and put it on the door itself making sure that it would match up to the existing seals. The stuff I found had a dished shape to it. It seemed to help some and was cheap.

See if the esn still begins with a 7. If it is that means the block is likely original and the engine was repaired. If the esn begins with a 6 then it is a factory reman longblock. If Cummins replaced the engine under warranty it would only be covered under the original warranty plan. A drop in ISX will run near or north of 30K just for the engine, thats not installed. Doesnt seem like a terrible deal to me if thats the case.
