I have a 2016 Mack with a MDrive transmission..it was running fine .but a strap got wrapped around the drive shaft and carriage bearing and ripped all the airlines off the tank and wire harness to the back of the truck.so all the airlines where replaced I didn't really know where it all went but I got the truck running ..but I did hook up a airline from one tank to the other..I seen other Mack don't have that..but now after everything was fixed driving on the highway the transmission slips out of gear and right back in like a split second..it doesn't slip at all..does it every once in awhile ..can anyone tell me what it can be ..thanks

Look carefully at all the wires that you had to hook back up for any rubbed raw places and coat them with a can of electric tape that brushes on till you can buy a wiring harness at truck junk yard. To replace what was done in by strap wrecking ball? Take lots of pictures of the air lines so you can see how they go back the correct way?

I replaced the wire harness that was ripped . nothing from tranny was ripped..and the airlines where all cut off evenly around the tank when the towing company brought me the truck...like I said I been running this truck for the past month approx.700 miles a day it runs fine,.it's the MDrive that slips in and out of gear but it does it quick...before all of this strap issues on driveshaft it never did ..started doing it after everything was tore up.........

Does the speed change or does the hand stay still when Trans. gear flashes, the speedo sensor going bad can make it flash in and out of gear before it goes bad?
-
I just called my driver to ask him what u asking me...he is telling me that if the cruise control is on riding on the highway it won't do it..it mainly does it taking off ..6th gear on up .but no light come on dash and the selector stays on D and the gear you in..this all started after the strap tore up all the airlines etc..the other day I had 92,000 and it did it more often ..the Mack dealer says they will look at it but you know how that is..the truck just hit 600,000 miles

Better off throwing a Maxitorque in it with them miles. I'm driving a spare truck with an mDrive with 618k and it shifts hard and slips sometimes
-
I'm gona have to do something..I got 6 Mack concrete truck and they a got Allison's..will that maxitorque bolt right in?
-
I would imagine. Different clutch and possibly a bell housing adapter. Is it an MP8?
-
Yes it's a mp8
-
The truck I drive is an MP8 with an Eaton 10 spd, the twin to it has a Maxitorque 10. Neither have adapters, you should be fine but I'd do some research on it first. That T310M can take some serious abuse plus it's a multi speed reverse
