2021 Clearinghouse/Portal/Query problems

Website is working goof from my office. Less than 5 minutes to run myself and three drivers. Still ticks me that the process even has to be done.

Okay.

So, the anniversary doesn't fall on the day of the last query? The whole year didn't pass. I conducted mine in the middle of April last year.
So, how the deadline January 5th applies to everyone? Is it only for new drivers?
It's so confusing.

 

The way I understand it is all drivers you employ.
If you’re a O/O, then you query yourself. Which is a little silly to me.

 

My last query was done on Apri 16th, 2020. Do I need to do another one today by the deadline or by April 16th, 2021?

 

Well, I still have problems when using their website. After the driver is verified, I click NEXT. Then the whole page disappears and nothing happens! I might as well do it even though it's not one year yet after I pulled my last query.

Update:
I was able to pull a limited query after several tries. I believe that's all you need if you are not conducting a pre-employment query.
Their system crashes though. You can't even view their frequently asked questions page. Try using google chrome instead of Safari. It helps.

Yes, you gotta do a inquiry every year.
But you cant expect 3 million drivers to do a 2021 inquiry in 5 days, that was deadline for 2020.

January 5, 2021 Deadline.

The deadline to meet the annual query requirement § 382.701, is January 5, 2021. This annual query requirement is tracked on a rolling 12-month basis. For instance, if an employer conducts a query of a CDL driver on October 9, 2020, the employer will not need to query that driver again until October 9, 2021.
