I often hear people say you can work the On Duty Not Driving line til the cows come home ie: 24 hours a day time 7 = 168 hours a week.
Other people will say you're limited to 70 hours either Driving or On Duty Not
Driving or a combination of the two. -
Here's the easiest way to explain this, and it's been done several times before.
You can not drive past the 14th hour once you start your "clock" in any given day.
You can not drive past the 70th hour in any 8 day period.
You CAN be on-duty not-driving as long as you want after the 14 hour clock and 70 hours in 8 days.
All of this is deleted and you start back with 70 hours available after a 34 hour reset.
It's really pretty simple to understand. -

Let me throw a monkey wrench in here.....What do you do if the Pigs wake you up at 5 hours into your 10 hour break and tell you to move your truck? And you have no available hours for 5 more hours?
