    You don't choose either 60 or 70. That is determined by how/when your carrier dispatches.

    I agree, it is better to post 10 hours a day and capture as much of that on the drive line as possible, (if paid mileage) otherwise at 8 .75 hours a day one is limiting their own pay. 70 hours in 8 days but we are all paid on a 7 day schedule.

    At 10 hours a day, one would post 70 hours this week 60 hours next week (7 day pay periods that is ) for a 65 hour average. . Otherwise at 8 . 75 hours a day one is stuck with 61 hours a week static average for pay.
