You don't choose either 60 or 70. That is determined by how/when your carrier dispatches.

At 10 hours a day, one would post 70 hours this week 60 hours next week (7 day pay periods that is ) for a 65 hour average. . Otherwise at 8 . 75 hours a day one is stuck with 61 hours a week static average for pay. -
