Unless they are willing to downgrade a lot of licenses to "bus pass", this seems to be about as much of a lost cause as just about any other enforcement effort.

If I was in charge of law enforcement, I probably would want to officially give up and, instead of wasting a lot of time randomly pulling drivers over for what basically amounts to normal behavior, have officers start pulling over those who are actually driving in a safe and legal manner, so as to determine who should be able to [relatively] easily obtain work babysitting the robot cars & trucks...

So what you're saying is that the insurance companies came up with a way that they would have to pay a lot of money to stupid people?

For those of us who also ride motorcycles, we have known that the 4wheelers have been at fault most of the time as well.

A quick search will show various studies showing cars and light trucks at fault 60-80% of the time in a two vehicle crash with a motorcycle.

And we know the percentage of fault between crashes of two four wheelers.....

Be aware, motorcycles are everywhere . . .

Doing dumb stuff, riding in packs, lacking in safety gear, speeding, under the influence, stopped on the fog line for a chat. . . .

    Be aware of that.

One reason I enjoy winter driving.

Well what I'm thinking is if they have concluded that 4 wheelers cause 3 out 4 big truck cashes, then what percentage of the 1 of 4 are caused by Swift?

    LoneCowboy and Sipesh Thank this.

New study reveals 100% of truck crashes [that did not involve Swift or CR England trucks], were operated by drivers who had recently passed a Swift or CR England truck.
