A new chapter begins and a new home for the Morehouse/fcc orphans

Was going to mankato minn plant from Lincoln when Brad caught up with me ( had 1 pallet in the nose ) ...made it to sibley iowa for the night and dispatch called saying Lincoln put wrong product on my trailer ..take it to new glarus wis plant and deadhead back to laurens iowa plant to get what was my next load to minong Wisconsin plant ..this isn't a bad gig !
All my insurance went in to effect last week too.

 

Hixton wis for the night and up to minong in the morning after a pick up at that cull cow plant in norwalk wis this afternoon, nothings changed there since I was last there with my step father in the late 70s with a slaughter cow load from the south st paul stockyards.
Will be home at the underwood plant sunday from minong on the 6th day as usual with 3000 miles for the week .
They certainly do have this dialed in !

 

Not much new to report , out 6 home 3 and come home with 3000 ish miles every week , plant to plant to plant .
Do your job and the bonuses pay out the 15th of every month .
3 months into this now and finally feel like I've gotten this dialed in .
New trucks are arriving so I will be getting a new one soon ...maybe this week .
That's about it .

 

Yeah it's really just been the adjustment of a different communication system and getting things entered correctly and that every plant operates a little differently from the other ...plus I started as links was shifting things around between some plants but that is settling down now .
I start some weeks wondering how I'll fill out 3000 miles in 6 days but they always do it !
And bonus ...they leave me alone when I'm home .
