    I would think that a lot of how long you have to go out with any trainer will depend on how well you did on your road test. Just a thought.

    Prime will milk that TNT time because that's how they feed their lease ops, basically running a team operation where the lease op gets the lion's share of the pay. Count on 8-10 weeks minimum training time with them. Your friends may be happy with their lease program, but I'll bet that's partly because they haven't compared it to other companies, or they just really like to train.

    That is one of the reasons I am holding off on Prime is because of the TNT program, everyone I talk too says that it is too excessive. I have contacted a few companies all ready and the recruiters are supposed to get back with me hopefully soon. I will keep looking for the right fit. Right now my goal is to find a decent company I can go nomad with. I admit being from Florida sucks (for trucking) but I have no issues staying out weeks on end and home time isn't really a big deal for me. I admit I do not have much tractor trailer experience other than Amazon over three years ago and it was between two warehouses, but I was mainly a yard jockey for them.
