Had a good chuckle at the "logic"

"Temu is based in boston owned by pdd
    Pdd is based in shangai
    Therefore temu is COMMUNIST"

Im not saying it isnt a terrible app designed to get as much data as possible from users, just wondering why anyone thinks twitter fb amazon etc etc are any more "pure" in their actions and motives because they arent ... what? Communist? Seems like aggregating consumer data is a pretty capitalist thing to do too...

Buying habits, ok, but when it taps into your contact list and your pictures and other non-consumer based data...then that isn't capitalism, it also says that same PDD produced another app that was found to be Malware...and the last time I checked, China is a communist run country who unleashed this thing called Covid on the planet who are also known to have as many state run hacker operations as Russia and Pakistan. When I had to install Macropoint on my phone for a broker load the company booked, within days I started getting phone calls from numbers with a country code from various Chinese locations...and I don't think @Chinatown was trying to call me. Once I deleted it, the calls stopped. I have since bought a burn phone with 0 personal data on it just for those broker loads.

Fb etc etc all want and do collect all the same data, theyre just a little better at hiding it.

Plenty of us based sites do all the same stuff, set up an account on virtually any website no matter the country and youll have calls and spam galore within 1 week.

Ever hear of stuxnet? Its as if you think the usa is blameless in aggressive cyberwarfare, we arent, we're just generally better at the stealth.

I had used a burner phone for years for broker loads. As well as a generic e mail address. I never downloaded the tracking apps on my business phone. Also gave my drivers burner phones. Didn’t want them to put that crap on personal phones.
