Just got back in to Orlando. Actually at the house for a couple of hours. Get a nice shower in and then headed back in to for last turn to Chicago and back to complete my run. So can’t complain. This week has gone by pretty fast. I don’t know why but I’m glad. Usually it goes pretty slow but man time is flying pretty fast

Okay, got my DOT done and turned into my new terminal. Start date 08-12-19. I’m super excited, will continue to pester everyone on my experiences!

Also it didn’t dawn on me to ask about the pay progression. Is it quarterly or random? I’d assume the first one would come after probationary period or something like that?

@Matt1924 do you have previous experience as a LTL. If so theres a chance to get ya started at top pay. Here on my side of the woods if you have previously worked as a city P&D AAA will start you at top pay.

    Matt1924 Thanks this.

Yea if you have P&D experience they may start you at top pay or a little higher than starting pay. But if I’m not mistaken I think it’s quarterly and top out after a year or something like that. But I don’t pay attention to the hourly pay because it doesn’t apply to me because I’m a team driver. I’ll worry about it when I start going solo and working on the dock again lol. But your pay should have already been discussed in the interview process before finalizing everything. But congrats man and welcome to the Team. Can’t wait to hear your stories. I was wonder what the cities guys go through lol.

Dude 2k a week? Gross plus benefits!? Or is that including the benefits what’s your actual gross how is the team miles split here? What’s the cpm? What areas do you run?

    Kstrong86 and Matt1924 Thank this.

Nope, no LTL previously. Plenty of years doing delivery though. I’ll be starting out at the entry rate. Not complaining though it’s still pretty nice. Gotta get through the 8 weeks of “pre -regular” employment first to be considered full time. Me thinks I’ll have my work cut out for me with long long hours and it’ll go by so fast

Did you not read the original post that you replied to. I gave a range of how much I make gross before taxes and benefits is taken out and how much goes in my bank after taxes and benefits. It fluctuates. The team miles depends on what terminal you are located at. So I can’t speak for other terminals but at my terminal the lowest team run we have is 5700 miles. Team miles is just split in half. So take 5700 and divide in half and multiply that by your cpm which $0.655. Although I think we are getting a pay raise so it may jump up to $0.69. I don’t know for sure. We run to a lot a places man. Just too many to type and also depends on terminal and area as well.
