Came through ky this morning,got a light dusting on the roads,and cars were already flying in the ditch.

Might need to take the winter off.

Crazy day today....got ran off the road and almost sideswiped about 0300 this morning by a white volvo hauling arse. Right lane was closed in the last tunnel going from VA into WV on 77. I merged over and got to the cones and saw the white volvo in my mirror thinking he was going to slow down and get behind me. Nope, idiot hammered down and I had no choice but to hit the brakes and move left onto the median while yanking firmly on the cord for the air horn. Camera started and recorded it. Later on US35 had a car blow by me then try doing a high speed u-turn in the frost covered grass median which didn't work too well being he ended up into the trees on the opposite side of the freeway. Also had a pickup truck almost hit me speeding and weaving around everyone coming out of Indianapolis. Fun day....

Too many close calls lately....had a tanker come over into my lane driving down US35 today....he had a sandwich in his left hand and his phone in his right hand and trying to steer with his forearms....on another note my new freightshaker sprung an exhaust leak today and exhaust smoke was coming from under the hood and engine was making tweeting noises coming from the right side. Made it to hq shop and supposed to get me in the morning. Fortunately no exhaust coming in cab, just outside.

 

Some folks catch all the breaks...

 

Here at Hall's in South Plainfield, NJ. First time I've been here in over 3 years. Got here at 7:30pm with only an hour left on the clock and feeling very nervous about trying to find a place to park for the night in North Jersey after 5:00pm.

Turns out they'll let you sleep on their yard. So all is well. Will leave out of here in the AM.

 

US 95 parked headed north just south of Goldfield. That shiny surface is not water. The England truck on the side of the roadway came up behind me with his head up his arse and decided running up the shoulder was better then rear ending this Abilene truck.
