I was driving my truck yesterday and all of sudden ABS light turned on the dash and then went out shortly and then would randomly flash. It gave me J1939 code, what could possibly be an issue?

Google abs and the code. Something will come up for sure.

Did you ever find anything? Or is it even still happening?
In my experience, when it comes on and off like that it's a loose sensor. I'd unplug each wheel sensor, put a little dielectric goop on each and make sure they plug and snap in.

I think its related to axle seal leaking.
I was doing post trip and found huge leak on inside of wheel. I was at Loves and mechanic took rim off and showed me that actual hub bolt was loose and so it wobbled both bearings and they were damaged and seal was replaced along with new gear fluid.
There is locking hub but ring that never got locked by previous ####### that worked on it. Grease build up gave ABS error.

Mechanic at Loves installed one of these locking hub nut retainers to make sure axle nut doesn't come loose again

Yes ended up hub nut loose/leaking wheel seal. It was loose enough that whole hub would wobble thus and toner ring would detect fault

J1939 is an SAE communications standard.
