As for voltage, this is another test to see if the sensor is working. The sensor is basically a small generator. It has a magnet with a coil of fine wire in it. The tone wheel on the hub disturbs the magnetic field as each tooth goes by. When ever you have a magnetic field move around copper wire you actually induce a small voltage. This is easily measurable with a digital meter at the sensor end. You spin the wheel by hand and you should get at least 0.5 volts AC. The faster you spin the higher the voltage. If he has his meter set to DC volts, you won't get anything. If the sensor is too far away from the tone wheel, you won't get anything. The sensor tip needs to be no more than about 0.020" away.
Abs light stays on trailer.

I read that in another thread.
I'll let ya know. -

Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
These Tech's. Are just chucking arrows.
They replaced both single piece wires with two piece assemblies.
Had them stop.
I'll take care of it at home. -
I just went thru a bunch of crap with my trailer, they replaced front trailer plug. Also if you turn the key off and on 3 times it will cycle the abs and you can count the blinks.
-
Tried that key trick, doesn't work.
I believe I might replace the ecu.
Both sensors are new.
From what I've figured out.
Abs just has a few fixes.
1)Sensor wire, check for ohm/continuity.
2) power from truck to ecu 12 volts
3) sensors producing signal to ecu
All them codes and crap blinking
Oh ya
4) good ground.
Someone else suggested I check the ground back to truck. I have a slick disc. They thought it may impede the grounding.
I remember upon delivery Thursday to a gravel pit. I ran thru a small lake.
The water was as deep as my top fuel tank step.
I think the ecu under my 34" high step deck may have received to much water and is corroding inside. Just a guess. If not heck the trailer is a 2011.
Change it than I know everything is new on it.
I bought this trailer a year ago and have replaced all brake components, bearings, leveling valves, sliding axle brackets and locking pins. Next up are the air springs.
Than I will virtually have a almost new trailer. Should last me 10 more years.
Thanks to everyone for your posts.
Much appreciated. I'll be working on trailer Thanksgiving week. Let ya know what the problem is. -
Want to read your thread, where is it. Where do I find the type of ecu I need.Oxbow Thanks this.

No speed detected? Did anyone check the tone ring on the back of the hub? If it fell off/broke that could be your issue there.

If you have a volvo you can pull the part # from the dash... but it won't tell you the sensor/ modulator count...
But this is on the trailer right? -
Yes this is the trailer abs.
