Not sure. But that's petty if they fired u just one accident.
Get a dash camara. It could of help u.
I got forced off the road by a van and hit a car. Van driver didn't have insurance and fled before the cops came. So technically without proof I sides wipe a car. Company at the time said it was preventable accident. Until I showed them the video. -
Marten had a culture of firing drivers and they seem to enjoy it.
However, the only accident I was involved in was when I drove for Marten. I was at a loading dock and in the sleeper when another truck hit my hood. I did not get fired, but I did have to hear, "What did YOU do to your truck?", every time I pulled in to a terminal, until it was fixed.
Even when I took it in for repair, the body shop foreman tried to accuse me of hitting something because the license plate was wrinkled. I told him to go look at the pictures that I sent to safety. After he came back from safety, he wrote up the repair but never apologized for wrongfully accusing me.G13Tomcat Thanks this. -
You were not cited, fault has not been determined but this could be chargeable /preventable. One in several years? Getting fired is not likely. They won't throw a party.. but firing is a bit remote.
