That's what I wear.
I think there are two types of people. Ones that will wear the boot when needed but most of the time wear something else. Others are like me that wear my boots every day, all day 99% of the time. If you are married to a work boot like me, spend the money and get some good ones. Even when I'm not working, I still wear my work boots most of the time.
I despise flip-flops. My kids wear them sometimes and they are all the time falling down or hurting their feet because of them.

I am a diehard Red Wing fan. Been wearing this style for about 25 years. I have a couple pairs, usually resole them after about 3 years. Do everything from work to riding motorcycles in them.

Red Wing guy here as well....someone mentioned socks and the best sock I've found is Snap-On believe it or not. If memory serves me they are made in Tennessee and will last forever. $5/pair 2 years ago when I bought 12 pairs and the only thing that has damaged them is my Aussie if she finds one laying around!
MidWest_MacDaddy Thanks this. -
Timberland pro Titans. By far the best boots I've ever worn. I used to work concrete for five years, concrete driver for five, and a year of flatbed and I've been through countless cheap and expensive boots. The Titans have an alloy safety toe that makes it super lightweight and it heats up faster from the cold. All around excellent and I couldn't recommend them enough.

I have had good luck with those Walmart Herman Survivor steel toe boots for years. Before that I always had Redwings. But if you want top of the line best in class boots, check out whitesboots.

Wings. Look no further. I think they are oil resistant as well.

I had a pair of Herman Loggers, for about 4 years. Wore the leather uppers right off the sole. Tried to find another pair, and by then of course, Walmart had stopped selling that particular line of Herman boots.
