This company relies on an algorithm they have developed to find the highest paying loads. The problem with this scenario is that the highest paying loads benefit the company and NOT the driver. The loads average 300 - 350 miles. This results in sitting at a delivery or pickup for hours per day. Ai Fleet DOES NOT pay detention time. You'll be lucky to get 1500 miles per week. Their trucks are Penske lease trucks, which are not well maintained and breakdowns are a common event. They do not pay breakdown! Dispatchers are incapable of telling the truth and the "night crew" is pretty much useless. You will be required to use your personal cellphone and data to run their ELD logs with no compensation. You will also be required to complete online "safety training" on your cellphone each month. You will NOT be paid for this either. If you like to work for free, this might be the company for you.
Really ya think he would KNOW all of this before he went to work for them. As far as Penske trucks being improperly maintained I would put that back pn the driver for not writing it up. I personally think this is one of those trolls.
The one company I worked for that required the driver to have a cell phone paid the driver $50 a month to do so.
