Delivered into this place last spring and almost wound up with police involved thanks to some “Karen” security guard who has absolutely no respect for truckers. They used to have a parking/staging area just before the main entrance, however this time it was under construction, at least the entrance to it. I pull up to the guard shack itself and one of them advises me to pull into the staging area from the parking lot near the shop. I park the truck, grab my wallet, paperwork & a mask to go check in. On the way I noticed a truck sitting along the former staging lit entrance along with a mangled section of construction fence and a bunch of guards talking to the driver, one of those “California plated” morons. After arriving at security I fill out the entry form and do the temperature check, then proceed to the window… from there things went to hell.
The female guard looks at me and in a very hostile tone demands I give her the insurance info on my truck along with my license abs stating I will be charged with destruction of property… WHAT???? I explain to her I have no idea what she was talking about and I didn’t hit anything. She then kept making demands and made a really snotty remark about “we'll see what the security camera shows”. All this time I’m trying to keep my tone polite, trying to be “professional”. I then ask “politely” as she still has the plexiglass window mostly closed, to which she then started yelling at the top of her lungs “NOW DO YOU HEAR ME?? GIVE ME YOUR INSURANCE PAPERS NOW!!”. That was it. After the last year of dealing with this Covid mess and the lack of respect from shippers receivers and some fuel stops towards us “essential workers” my temper was pretty ragged. I yelled back at her that u didn’t hit anything and for her to #### and listen. This police academy flunk-out Karen twit was hell bent on not letting me get a word in at all. Just then the other guards walk in and told her it wasn’t me who hit their beloved construction fencing. That wasn’t enough to placate this POS burger flipper wannabe excuse for a security guard. She then directed me to a door and demanded I produce the insurance document or I could be held for review as a possible witness. This ###### wasn’t about to cease her “I am security guard hear me roar” schtick.

after getting into my door I had to go back to the guard shack to retrieve my gate pass, and she was nowhere to be found. I requested the offending female badge number so I could contact Securitas abs make a report against them. They balked and acted a bit flaky as if they were afraid of backlash from her because I dared tread upon her almighty fiefdom.

good luck to anyone delivering to this disrespectful place.

She probably knows the driver that hit the fence and was trying to put the blame on you.

In 88 or 89 right after they opened someone committed suicide on the dock. You know drivers, everyone said he had a limit of 6 hours and they went over it. Never went back, never have sent a truck there. 30+ years later it seems they have the same attitude.

Ahem <insert sterotypical snide queer millennial falsetto here> like did you just totally refuse to hire that poor poor woman? What are you some kind of cis male pig? I should like totally go tell my 3 followers what a bigot you are and then go let the reeedit and twatter groups know what an evil biggoted company you are. I mean dont you see her degrees in diversity stidies and critical race theroy? She is MORE then qualified for this position!

Also did you assume that she is married to a white cis male filth pig? How DARE you, its reesist to assume someones orentation or the sexual identity of their partners. What are you like some total kind of biggot? I should call the police on you for reecism and biggotry you evil white....MAN.

Ok that honestly made me cringe inside to write but methinks thats how the conversation with the thing went when someone objected to hireing that kind of karen. Gotta remimber even interviewing a karen is like juggleing live hand grenades with the pin pulled while you stand legs akimbo above a pit filled with starveing sharks and a bunch of bleeding porkchops glued to your jewels. And if you have a brandon or karen in your HR department multiply that by 50.

And before you cry racism or whatever on me...the above example is a play on an actual very very loud and one sided "conversation" i overheard at a shipper through an open window a year or so back while i was forced to wait in the drivers shack also known as the pig room by the lady behind the counter.

Oh she definitely was…. Even after the other guards told her I wasn’t the one who did it she couldn’t stop with the hostility…. Luckily when I deliver there 6 months later I learn she was no longer working there.
