Just remember, screw up bad enough, someone ends up dead in this business.

Plain hard truth of the matter.

    Safety over-rules courtesy. Always.

you can turn it down to 480p or lower to non-hd and get longer record times but but frame rate and sharpness go down too.

the 2gb card it comes with will do 30min at max 720p, i just spent $20 so it will do 8hr before it loops. the reason i did that was incase something happened i can wait for up to 8hrs to save it.....

to CYA you NEED a sharp pic to get a plate number or show a driver on the phone...... i rather have a sharper pic than i need than need a sharper pic than i have.

Not trying to come down hard or even come down on you. Just a different perspective is all. I had a driver cross over into my lane earlier this year. I took the shoulder as far as I dared and I was on the other side of the fog line.

Had he come further, I would have taken my lane back. I KNOW I would have killed the occupants too.

And there's not a #### thing more I could have done about it.

I don't want to kill anyone out here.

But I sure am not going to risk my life or truck for someone else's

Yeah, that is how it goes. I don't try to be aggresive on the road at all. But some stunts that people pull are almost more spectacular than anything. Now that I think about it more, she was on her phone, was probably more focused on the conversation, and used my truck as a point of reference to keep up with the flow of traffic. I am starting to feel less bad now. Not like I started moving over to push her out of the lane, I just signaled my intent. That whole area is a no handheld phone zone.
