Sorry to hear this happened to you. Keep your head up if you wish to stick with it. There are far better places to work out there that dont treat you like a hardened criminal.

 

A little advice, get hired by a new company QUICKLY!!!

The DAC report gets updated usually only once a month. So the clock is ticking. If you can get in with a company BEFORE this incident goes on the record, you MIGHT be ok!

 

next time. have a TRUCKER gps handy. and go straight. if you have the parameters set. it SHOULDN'T put you in that predicament. not to say that it won't. but at least it can reguide you.

at the same time. many of us would have done the same thing. IF it had to come down to that. but ALWAYS check for traffic FIRST before attempting such a maneuver.

 

Less than 6 months and you've burned through Swift and Schneider.

If they fired you for the U Turn there's not much you can do but if you just chose to quit instead of meeting with safety I think you made a mistake.
