When I had one of those #### things I would set it our on the step and close the door ... it can go off all night ... it can get stolen ... I didn't care because if I am not well rested I am not safe on he road. I'm kind of surprised it never was stolen or shorted out from being left out in the rain ... dam u qualcom u are indestructible and nobody wants you!
I just turn the screen completely down on mine and the volume down all the way at night. I even throw a shirt over it for extra security....LOL
Again A company worried about squeezing a few more dollars, while not caring about the comfort or safety of there drivers.
They do not. I'm in a 2013 and I don't have one. The viedo we have to watch when first assigned a Cascadia says that only the early ones had them, then they stopped.
I was in Gary and there installing them still on all trucks. Whole fleet is supposed to b done by Xmas. They dont like it but green bay rules all. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Xparent Cyan Tapatalk 2
I had mine installed last weekend. When the engine lights come on, just pressing on the gas pedal cleared it out and kept it running. Not sure why it doesn't work on other trucks.
Were you below the temperature range were the trucks will idle? You might have simply over ridden it due to being below 20...or whatever they have set to.
This was in Gary Tuesday morning. I'm pretty sure it was over 20 degrees. Still cold though. But if the sensor is supposed to allow you to idle below 20, then there shouldn't be anything to have to override on it.
