To illustrate how bored I am sitting here, I actually watched the YouTube replay of the driver's forum from this week. All I can say is, with these new mid-roof 680's they're buying for us solo drivers, If they're single bunk, like I expect, I hope they order them with the cabinets on the back wall and not try to skimp on weight an eliminate those. I mean, I hear that then new trucks won't have the Prius deflector/bump drafting protection on the front, but those of us who stay out need the storage of an upper bunk OR cabinets on the back wall. I watched "Andy, The KW guy" out of Canada, and he has shown mid-roof 680's both ways.

Finally got a load. Pick up tomorrow down by Newark going to Plano, TX for Monday. That's the good news, the bad news is that it is a tarp load, so there goes my streak of no tarping, but it's only a 4' x 4' x 8.5', so only need one tarp... although, it delivers before payroll cutoff, and tarping pays an extra $100, so that's not all that bad of bad news.(on top of the extra 4 stops stop pay I get, gonna be a good week!!!)

I have never been to that Pride only the one further north in Chicopee, Ma. How is it? Plenty of parking and a restaurant? Thanks for any info.

I live in Plano, if you can’t park at the customer you can pretty much park anywhere as long as you’re not in a lane of travel. I see transient trucks around town taking their 10’s anywhere they’ll fit all the time. A bunch of them park behind Northern Tool on 75 and go home but I think the property owner is trying to run them out. Plano and Allen are pretty truck friendly towns.

This has to be one of the biggest savings amount using the company fuel app since I've started here.

I have never been in the place. Used go pass it 4 times a week when I had the Burlington Vermont bid. Always parking around midnight in there. I do Portland Me now.

They are supposedly double bunks. I would have preferred the cabinets.

what do you weigh with one of the new flats full of fuel? I’m 36k on the nose.

200 plus new aluminum flats and step decks this year will be nice. That means the yards will be over stuffed but oh well.

I still stand by my #### stirring question. This tank trailer has been taking up two spots on the loaded line for at least 3 years and it’s never moved. There’s been a broken 4 axle glass trailer there for 6 months at least. DAC9AA17-0DE8-4F3D-9D79-5FAF03FCB362.jpeg

I'm 33120 with one of the new trailers. And I looked at that tank trailer a while back. It appears to have some new (not rusted) parts on it like they were planning on using it again.

As far as the yard being crowded, when I dropped that blanket load last week, Dan said to just put it in the middle gravel with the rest of the conestoga blanket loads. He said half of those trailers in there are blanket loads waiting for a delivery phone call..

And if they are double bumk, I hope the new trucks have head room on the bottom bunk, unlike Poly's mid-roof double bunk cornbinders or Moore's Anthems. If you were over 5'2" you cracked the back of your head on the top bunk when you went to sit down on the bottom bunk (if you put the top bunk down so you could store your stuff).
