I think my Swedish Shetland ponies would get a hernia trying to pull that much weight now that their nether nuggets have been clipped.

I’ve just been putting along at 55 most of this trip since I’m not in any hurry, I can’t cross into Michigan before Monday morning. With it being so hot (my dash was over 100 in wv yesterday) running fast just equals waiting on the side of the road for a tire guy. I’ll be at the wi/mi line tomorrow by early lunch time.

I’ve been playing the fuel game so I don’t have full up numbers but my dash has been reading in the 7’s.

Also this machine is exactly as tall as they said it would be, after I took the crane out of the saddle at least. I don’t know where I was picking up the few extra inches in height. I always try to measure on the cat scale. When I rechecked tonight I was only 14’2”. ####s magic I guess. Numbers are hard.

7's...holy crap. My truck drops into the high 5's with a heavy Genie load. Pulling that much weight, with that big of an air catcher, my truck would be lucky to stay in the low 5's.

    Where is that beast going?

Yawn. There isn’t much point in arguing about it. There wasn’t much point in bringing it back up either.

i’ve always wondered how castrated company trucks pull those worth a ####. Unless those trucks are a different spec vs regular flatbed trucks.

Also i can scale out at 78-79k and regularly get up to speed faster than most grain haulers with “real” trucks. I don’t know how that can work
