No that would be the newest guy and the 3rd newest guy. We call it the blind leading the blind. I’m in arizona, knocked out 685 miles today with 37 mins left on the clock. Was pushing for the one-9 at the 25 to do a reset but this trailer has an air leak, a broken bracket for the tire inflation control box, and the light for that system is also smashed and hinging by the wires. I figured I better stop at a place with a shop just incase I can’t find the leak. These #### double drops are a real ##### to get under for a fat guy.Knucklehead, D.Tibbitt, Oxbow and 5 others Thank this.

Made it all the way to Palestine AR today and will be in Corsicana before noon tomorrow. Been a relatively uneventful drive once I got rolling. For pulling this much weight and being tail heavy, my S-Dog is pulling pretty decent.
Lonesome Thanks this. -
Funny you saw the wings then parked in Palestine. I’d bet good money they were parked across the highway from that loves in the big dirt lot last night. They only charge us $10 per truck and we get there early enough we can always park in the back corner.Lonesome Thanks this.

In the 2+ years I have been here, that was the 1st wing load I have ever seen going down the road.

The vast majority of spd drivers we go past don’t even look over at us. I don’t need/want any recognition, but hell we used to at least wave at each other. I could pick out a spd truck a mile away. I think I passed 3 spd trucks today and only got one wave. Hell even a Wylie driver waved at me!

Years ago in England, all Nottingham drivers would give each other a flash and a wave. Much later, here in France drivers for the same firm did so too, often with a quick CB chat. But I began to notice that drivers from another firm altogether, based over 50 kms south in Perigueux, did the same. I had to seek out an old hand to find out why. Apparently the 2 founders, one before, the other just after the war had been very close in their early days and this friendship had filtered down through all their drivers over the years, even though the vast majority of us had no idea why.
201773, Knucklehead, wulfman75 and 4 others Thank this.
