I have not. 791 is my current best, and that’s only because we can drive 13 hours in Canada. Back in my conastoga days a few times I would leave Wichita and make it to portage Indiana, that was 715 if I remember right. But I had a 71 mph truck then.

i think my personal best is around 710. Governed to 68. Reached the 690’s on several occasions

When SPD had 70 mph trucks, I had several 2 and 3 day stretches of 700+ mile days, usually around 720(with a little drive time to spare) When they turned their trucks down to 68, I found it hard to break the 700 mark. Hard to believe that a 2 mph change could make that much of a difference. Heck, with this no-pulling Freightliner over here, I only managed 676 yesterday in 10:58, but this load is way heavier than the majority of loads I pulled at SPD.

There’s been a few times over the last few months I’ve been able to put on about 675 miles in about 10 hours and 45 minutes

Personal record is 722 miles, have had a few 700+ days. I always vow at the end of one of those days to not do it again because it sucks to push that hard.

Marten has done that for years, I think Holland has either started it or soon will.

We get inclimate weather pay..if we have to shut down due to it, we get up to $150 for it.

Smart that these companies do this…overall it’s much cheaper to pay a driver to park in extreme weather conditions than it would to pay a wrecker and freight claims if blown over..
