Well same #### different day around here. Not much has changed recently. My boss moved from Wichita to Washington. Still running the same loads though. This week I’m working the local rotation in Wichita. We are on standby for a 13’6” wide 250 mile round trip that moves a few times a week. Once that cancels we do little things around Wichita or sometimes nothing.

yesterday I took a truck to the kw shop and brought a detailed on back for a rehire. Today I’m supposed to take a truck to the apu shop and good lord I don’t know how people live like this. Absolutely disgusting. (Some of the dirt is from unloading the truck on the gravel yard, but it’s basically an ashtray) IMG_9883.jpeg IMG_9884.jpeg IMG_9885.jpeg

That is disgusting, why would a person live like that if they didn't have to? The air quality in that truck has got to be horrible. I can guarantee from the picture that the driver doesn't wear gloves while fueling or wash his hands after fueling and gets all that nasty diesel mess onto his steering wheel, which he then transfers to other parts of the truck.

And some people's mothers didn't love them enough to teach them basic hygiene.

I hear you, yesterday I helped move a truck just in our yard from a driver, and it took me like 10 minutes washing my hand just to get them clean...

I thought they dismissed most of the personnel up in Washington, are they repopulating the place with all new staff?

Lonesome and Dale thompson Thank this.

Finally! After all my efforts all these years. Of course, that and a couple bucks will get me a cup of coffee...but still.

Just the first half. I haven’t been up there but they moved the office staff to the trucking company next door that’s about a quarter of the size. Hr, billing, payroll, recruiting ect are all handled through Wylie. We have two dispatchers, two managers, and a hand full of sales and customer service people.
What’s left of the shop is still at the main facility for not but that’s all for sale.

Dale thompson, Lonesome and navypoppop Thank this.
