Who wants me rant about how the EPA hasn't cleaned up one river or harbor?

    Of course you would.

Cummins will pay California $175M over emission-rigged engines
must not about clean air. It’s about 2 billion fine.

Remember this? It’s in that article too.
The federal civil penalty was the largest in the history of the Clean Air Act and second-largest fine overall. It followed the $2.6 billion criminal penalty that Volkswagen AG paid for emissions cheating in 2015. That arose from what became known as the “Dieselgate” scandal.

    seriously??

compared to the 60's, we have way cleaner waterways and air today.

I grew up alongside the Hudson river in upstate NY, about 100 miles north of the city. (NYC)

when I was a kid you couldn't see 2 feet down when wading as a kid.

in the 90's I went up to visit and they were having a Bass Masters tournament, and the sturgeon have even returned. they only go to clean water to spawn.

that's just one example and I know it might not fit your politically skewed view, but it is what it is.

The Charles River (which flows through Boston) has been cleaned up a little too.
But that doesn’t stop people from singing about “loving that dirty water “!!;)

    Seriously.

I'm thinking one bass tournament doesn't equate to cleaning up the Hudson river (or other rivers and harbors) when the river and the NYC harbor have been nasty for decades.

If the Hudson is clean 100 miles north of NYC, shouldn't it be clean running into the harbor?

And that white stuff in the sky? Those aren't clouds.

Technically it is.... caused by same reaction that creates fog. Hot air leaving a jet engine creates condensation and forms those trails that some people think are chem trails. Which is an extremely poor way to poison a large population compared to say water or grain

that was the first of many tournaments.

down river nearer the city is a lot of bigger cities, so more pollution.

BUT, not near as bad as 50-60 yrs ago after the establishment of clean air and water acts.

    not clouds??

If you look at the fishing regulations for WV, and notice the area where it gives limits for fish eaten from our rivers, the Kanawha River under the Nitro bridge of I-64 says not to eat any fish at all from that river. It’s been that way for years and not likely to change any time soon….

too many coal and oil companies spilling #### in the rivers.
