but I should take the bonuses into account, because from what I've been hearing Andrus has several attainable bonuses, maybe you can elaborate? If so, its not really fair to just go by CPM if there are good bonuses...

When I was with Crete, they would offer up to...UP to 3 loads to choose from, to me it was kind of a sneaky way to get you to choose a load, most were 1 or 2 low miles and 1 with better miles, and the one with more miles was often an undesirable load. New Jersey, or Atlanta, or something with a very late appointment time etc. I did have a bad experience with Crete, but that does not mean they are a terrible company. Just not a good fit for me. I was with them when they had a pool of dispatchers and not DM's, I hear they have DM's now, and that might be better, I had one dispatcher that got me into LA and he was determined to keep me there doing nothing but shags, I had to go from western regional to the national fleet just to get out of LA. I spent 4 days in LA shagging loads.

Andrus does have mileage bonus, safety bonus, and fuel use bonus (idle). They do have an idle policy, but in orientation I asked if I was in a hot zone, like Texas, or Phoenix, what then, they did say, they will not hold idling against you in extremely hot conditions. My bunk heater was MORE than enough in the winter, I did not idle at all this past winter.

yeah I'm the same way, can easily get by without idling in the winter and don't mind being a little cold, but I have to idle in the hot weather like Texas or California etc... hard to sleep when hot. yeah that LA for 4 days sounds terrible.

I drove for Crete in the good ol' days (2004 - 2006). It was good then. After the horrible lawsuit, everything changed, a lot. I didn't know how much until I went to an orientation for Hunt Transportation. I feel sorry for the drivers there now.
