    Lol
I guess maybe a good front end collision with an immovable object would work
Don’t worry my dump trucks will burn diesel or be parked.

a volunteer EMT that is a regular customer at the local gun store, told us that they had been training on EV fires..they get "donor" EV's from the bone yard..

anyway, he said that no amount of water puts out the fires, as they reignite, if not right away, as long as a week later.

there is a blanket that some fire company's have, but it is expensive, so they do not have 1.

once put onto the burning EV, it just stays there, all the way to the junk yard......

the junkyards have to place all the EV's in a totally separate location, to avoid a massive flare up, and a firestorm of all the other junked vehicles...

those in charge are pushing these stupid things, but no one is doing any thinking on disposal, recycling, or fire fighting........

We’ve had numerous fires in Massachusetts involving EVs in recent years where 1 fire can take up to 10,000 GALLONS to extinguish the fires-and even then that may not have been enough!!!
From the way these EVs catch fire you’d swear you were dealing with reincarnations of the Ford Pinto!!

Except that took some outside force so to speak…my understanding is these things can do it all by themselves

Bud A., Last Call and mjd4277 Thank this.

They can. Thermal runaway is no joke-not from the way those battery cells are packed!
