2013 Boeing 787 Dreamliner grounding - Wikipedia -
anyway, he said that no amount of water puts out the fires, as they reignite, if not right away, as long as a week later.
there is a blanket that some fire company's have, but it is expensive, so they do not have 1.
once put onto the burning EV, it just stays there, all the way to the junk yard......
the junkyards have to place all the EV's in a totally separate location, to avoid a massive flare up, and a firestorm of all the other junked vehicles...
those in charge are pushing these stupid things, but no one is doing any thinking on disposal, recycling, or fire fighting........Bud A., W923, mjd4277 and 1 other person Thank this. -

We’ve had numerous fires in Massachusetts involving EVs in recent years where 1 fire can take up to 10,000 GALLONS to extinguish the fires-and even then that may not have been enough!!!
From the way these EVs catch fire you’d swear you were dealing with reincarnations of the Ford Pinto!!jason6541, Bud A., asphaltreptile311 and 2 others Thank this. -
