Another new driver with NewB questions

    Hi all, long time lurker here. Currently in CDL school taking my state test this coming week and am thinking about jobs. I'm located in Portland,OR.

    Thinking back and forth between a local job or regional. I'd like to be home every night but realize driving in the city increases my chances of a ticket or accident ( I have a clean record)

    My end goal is to haul fuel for Superior or KAG after a year. I already have tanker and am planning to get doubles/ triples and Hazmat.

    One job listing I see is hauling scrap metal in a roll off, end dump and flat bed. Does end dump and and roll off count as tractor trailer experience?

    Any thoughts route I should go or companies I should look into? Thanks in advance!

    I don't know about roll off, but end dump will. It's basically a dump truck configured in a tractor trailer (semi rig) configuration.
