I’m not sure, but if Big Maude is endorsing her, well…

    Chinatown, I sincerely mean this.
Youboob monetizes views. Often times they offer VERY little value outside of entertainment.

When i had stupid questions here you answered them as you do for everyone. I separated YOUR suggestions into different categories of my choosing and found the training that i needed.

I'm on track to making 75k my first year paying my dues. I owe some of that to you and to the other truckerreport members who kept me on the straight and narrow!

It's not a perfect occupation but at least you get paid well to drive hard! I pay all trucker generosity forward as best as i can to honor all of you awesome truckers!

Numb, ducnut and Chinatown Thank this.

You've been gone awhile. Kentucky parole board is hard core.

To the OP: You wanna’ wreck your CSA? Drive for a scrap operation. I’ve never seen one that was honest or offered nice equipment. They’re an embarrassment to the trucking industry.

Wow, thanks, plenty of good suggestions and advice here. ducnut brings a good point about the scrap company (Metro metals) , likely will have older equipment in rough shape. My main priority is to keep my record clean. I have been considering food service, not afraid to unload freight if I have to.

United salad posts almost daily, which makes me think they might not treat drivers that well? They have around 80 drivers, their safety record is good. They seem to stay on my radar but I have not applied with them.

Performance food service is less than 10 minutes from my house but pays less than their competitors.

I put in 2 applications yesterday, 1 with Carmax hauling cars locally the other with Franz bakery. Neither stated experience required. Carmax sent me a text asking how many years of experience I had, replied 0. That was the end of that.

    ducnut Thanks this.

You're not kidding! I was only supposed to be in the lockup a couple of days but every time I'd bite someone, they'd give me another day. What the hell? An undead has to eat!

Apply at Kag and see if you can get a road test…seems all companies can make exceptions. I know in Canada KAG begging for drivers.
