Hey Chinatown! No, I left back in the summer. I'm not working right now because I have a little baby girl now, 2 months old. So I'm at home now.

@Deonsmom , personally I would recommend getting your Doubles/Triples endorsement and going LTL. I really enjoyed LTL much more than pulling reefer or van, the money is good and there are home everyday openings running back and forth from hub to hub.

You and your hubby were running for FedEx once upon a time, weren’t you?jungledrums Thanks this. -
Quick update:
Orientation at Prime went well and I was assigned to a trainer. Clean truck, respectful and informative person.
HOWEVER, he lacks patience. He's a Lease operator and a Leo...lol(gotta laugh to keep from crying). Seriously though, he seems to be more concerned with meeting his personal goals than training.
It's day 6 and I am being pushed to levels I don't feel quite comfortable with yet(mainly mountain driving at certain speeds during the night and rain). I asked if he could let me try mountains during the day until I become more comfortable with them, told him I am terrified and don't want to make a mistake because I panicked. I have explained this to him several times to no avail.
He wants what he wants and I can't meet his expectations safely. I will not try anymore because It could possibly cause me my life. I have requested another trainer.
I don't know if they will grant me another trainer or not but I can't continue training like this, I won'tFarmerbob1, Chinatown and Metallica88 Thank this. -
Take it up with management. LO is only interested in you making him money. In my opinion you should have applied to haul cans. Easier way to get your feet wet.
Good LuckDeonsmom Thanks this. -
Am I wrong guys? Am I just being a scary cat? He said "he doesn't think this is for me because I'm terrified of the mountains". I know I can do it, I just need some time and someone to understand that. I haven't even done 2,500 miles yet of the 40,000 miles required. I think it's a bit too soon to come up with that assumption.

I have contacted management, haven't gotten a response yet. Haul cans??? -
When you crunch the numbers being home daily is more economical.
