Awesome!
I had that happen twice. The first was near Anaheim on I-5. Guy in a Mercedes SLK (little two-seat convertible) WITH THE TOP DOWN changed lanes into my left front steer.
The second was on I-10 east of Phoenix when a Chevy Cobalt self-performed a perfect PIT manoeuvre on my front bumper. I pushed them sideways a bit and then they spun off into the median.
In both cases there was no damage to my truck, but the same couldn't be said about the perpetrators.Lepton1 Thanks this. -
That SUV is REALLY lucky they didn't get pushed sideways into the light pole... I'm sure it would have been a fatality.

Most would be shocked at the number of people who have minimal or no useable peripheral vision. License vision exams [at least in Texas] do not check peripheral vision.
For most in a car, a mirror check is supplemented with their peripheral vision as a developed habit they're not even aware of. Others never develop the correct use of the mirror and rely on peripheral vision more than anything.
Loss of peripheral vision is typically slow to develop, and for many goes undiagnosed until a critical event happens such as this. Many are born with poor peripheral vision.Big Don Thanks this. -
Probably reaching for something on the passenger side. I seen this numerous time.

Almost looked like they were already out of control when they came into camera view...I had a high speed Audi TT do something similar. Tried to slingshot between a pickup in the left lane and me in the right lane, lost it, hit a jersey barrier on the left shoulder, spun 180 degrees directly in front of me, then went backwards off the right shoulder thru a speed limit sign. He had to have been pushing 100 mph to bounce around and spin and still get past me. I wish I had a dash cam back then.

LOL I thought they were out of control when they put their key in the ignition.
