It's fittings for hoses. Since every driver has their own. Which you sign a form for it. So clearly they wasn't paying attention in orientation.

But that's company equipment that's essential which does a paid driver have to provide that? That's a scam! That's a #### equipment deduction for the company... I understand if a driver loses or damages something maybe hold them accountable (depends on situation) but this sounds like outright robbery... sounds like you have to carefully watch your paystubs and make sure you paid for everything you've earned... that doesn't sound ethical

Can't remember if it was for the fittings or company id and etc. But I remember in orientation they actually talked about one of the forms that was saying about stuff being taken out.

Is this a deposit that they return when you turn the fittings back in when you separate from the company? Fittings are expensize, especially if they're stainless steel - which I assume Oakley's fittings are since they haul foodgrade commodities - so I don't blame them for holding a deposit to make sure drivers don't tear them up or forget them somewhere on the road.

U sign so many docs that u need a lawyer.

Log off duty when loading/unloading it doesn’t count toward your workday. Work 7 hours today (remember they determines your schedule) today and 14 tomorrow, you’ll get half day pay for today and full day tomorrow.

Loose a truck key, $400 bucks.

Truck's are equipped with all the bells & whistles alerting you, “no safety bonus for you.”

I do like the trailer mounted pumps and no slinging hoses.

Surprise, they’ve had a price increase. Now $500 and $120.

Well, I’ve worked tanker for 17 years and have never paid for fittings. But when you’re hiring Western Express and Swift drivers, it might make sense.

    lual and REO6205 Thank this.
